BCI Game Jam
Week-long jam for creative, accessible BCI games—sponsored by NeuroPawn.

The Event
The event brought together developers from multiple countries to design BCI-controlled games with a meaningful purpose: creating interactive experiences that can be enjoyed by children of all abilities. What made the event especially powerful was its user-centered approach. Instead of building games first and thinking about accessibility later, the process began by involving children in the ideation phase, helping developers create experiences shaped around real users from the start.
Throughout the jam, participants explored how EEG, game design, and assistive technology can come together to create new forms of interaction. From music-based games to P300 selection systems and hands-free control experiences, the projects showed how BCI gaming can move beyond research demonstrations and into real, playful applications.
Why We Sponsor
At NeuroPawn, our mission is to make neurotechnology more accessible for students, developers, researchers, and innovators. Sponsoring BCI Game Jam was a natural extension of that mission. By providing access to affordable EEG hardware, we hope to help more creators experiment with brain-computer interfaces and build software that can support the communities who may benefit from it most.
Events like this show what happens when accessible hardware meets creativity, collaboration, and a good cause. We are excited to continue supporting the growth of BCI gaming and the next generation of neurotechnology builders.
